Rices Bookshop, at 96 Beaumont St Hamilton, was established in 1969, (formerly Mann's Bookshop). The present owner/manager took over the reins from his father in 1989, having worked on the shop floor for twenty years.

In that time he has developed an extensive knowledge and appreciation of all kinds of books and records. The variety, quality and value attracts many people, nation-wide and locally in Newcastle.
